What happens when you cross a global action day, The Green Belt Movement, a cherry tree and some soil?

Ok so that may be a bit obvious but yes TREE PLANTING!

In celebration of 10:10:10 activities, GBM’s Europe office with Ethical Property got our hands dirty last friday by planting a lovely Cherry tree in the garden. Friends from all sorts of organizations joined us to plant this beautiful tree that will give shade, fresh air, green scenery and tasty cherry fruits to those around.

This was just the start, tree planting initiatives happened around the globe from UK to America to Kenya.
GBM along with local communities and the United Nations Environment Programme planted 3,000 trees in Eburu Forest, Kenya.

Make sure you check our blog later in the week for more great stories and photos of the event.
