The Three New Female Peace Laureates Pay Tribute to Wangari Maathai

In a conversation with Amy Goodman of Democracy Now, the three new Nobel Peace Laureates discussed "their non-violent struggle for the safety of women and for women’s rights."

"The Nobel Committee cannot license us, our three laureates, to speak for women, but it has provided us a platform from which to speak to women," noted Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.
