Professor Wangari Maathai's 7th Memorial Celebration

The Green Belt Movement (GBM) in collaboration with the family of the late Professor Wangari Muta Maathai will commemorate the seventh memorial anniversary on 25th September 2018.
GBM will lead Kenyans and the world in promoting her enviable legacy of peace and freedom for future generations.
Participants will converge at the All Saints Cathedral at 9.00 am and march through Kenyatta Avenue towards Uhuru Park, Freedom corner.
At Freedom Corner, we will have speakers address the participants on matters of environment, good governance, and promotion of cultures of peace as cornerstones for sustainable development.
The guest of honor will be Rev. Dr. Timothy Njoya among other dignitaries.
