The wPOWER Hub of the Wangari Maathai Institute (WMI) of the University of Nairobi is leading a 24-member team from Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda and Tanzania to India as part of an India –Africa exchange facilitated by the U.S. Department of State.

The official launch of the Wangari Maathai House Project is planned for September 25, 2015; at a gala event to market the Fourth Anniversary of Prof. Wangari Maathai’s passing.
